Wednesday May 23 will be a day to remember as the 2018 IES Eurovision song competition. This creative event of the year is where all IES schools are invited to showcase their talented students in performing a song in one of the Modern Languages of French, Spanish or German. Along with the singers, musical talents included bands, dancers and even a nyckelharpa! Competition was tight as 17 schools performed their numbers to a full house of adoring fans from schools around the country. IES Tyresö produced and hosted the show with help from the music and MFL departments with MFL students hosting, and the school choir and band performing. All the participating schools had rocking performances, but only one winner can win the trophy. The voting results placed IES Sundsvall as the 1st place finisher, followed by IES Lund in 2nd and IES Nacka in 3rd place. All three winning places will have their songs professionally recorded in the IES Tyresö recording studio. Thank you to all the performers for dazzling us with a great show!
